![]() It seems the Arduino IDE can't see the port but avrdude and Windows can. May be related: I am seeing the Tools->Ports menu lag behind Windows Device Manager by 20 to 30 seconds. If I replicate the avrdude command at CLI it works flawlessly (once I force the Pro Micro into bootloader mode by double-tapping the reset). After 30 seconds avrdude then tries to run and since COM 7 no longer exists, it fails. ![]() The bootloader COM port (7 in this example) is closed. After 8 seconds the Pro Micro exits the bootloader and starts running code. Programming freezes at this point for ~30 seconds. ![]() Turning on verbose, the port is correctly found, but Arduino just hangs at the port. We are currently dumbfounded, but are starting to hear from customers. We can't tell if it's a windows update (not likely since Linux and Mac are reporting similar issue), Java update (we've reverted all the way back to 7 without fix), or something with Arduino (we've tried back to v1.6.x). This may or may not be related but in the last ~20 hours we've seen micro support break in Windows and Mac (reported but not confirmed). It has more or less the same functionality of the Arduino Duemilanove, but in a different package. The Arduino Nano is a small, complete, and breadboard-friendly board based on the ATmega328 (Arduino Nano 3.x) or ATmega168 (Arduino Nano 2.x). If you are not familiar with the Arduino IDE or you simply do not want to install it you can use the HEX file to update the dropController. In practice I am not sure this makes a difference when using solenoid valves. On Arduinos that it does not support the code defaults to the regular Arduino way. ![]() The library does not work with newer non 328P based Arduinos such as the Arduino Micro & Leonardo which are based on the ATmega32U4 chip.Īrduinos are fairly slow at switching pins on an off and digitalIOPerformance speeds things up by cutting out a lot of unnecessary functions the Arduino normal performs. I have tried in Arduino IDE 1.6.3 and 1.8.5 and the sketch compiles fine. This is actually outdated but still works with all 328 based Arduinos like the Nano. The Arduino sketches requires the digitalIOPerformance library. See the Updating the Firmware page for details on how to upload a new firmware. The sketch requires the digitalIOPerformance library, see below.ĭropControllerV3 Arduino Sketch 2019_V3_005_003. ![]()
